This area of the DACS Gold Practice™ Initiative summarizes comparisons between, or generalizations of, software acquisition and development best practices.  The details of the quantitative data results presented here are available from their original sources in the literature, in either hardcopy format or available for download from the web.  In all cases, bibliographic information or Internet URLs are provided to allow those interested to obtain a complete copy of the material.
